A man who has several run-ins with law enforcement finds himself back behind bars after another incident in December.
According to the Probable Cause Affidavit filed last week by the Harrison Police Department, the incident led to the arrest of 45-year-old Larry Thompson of Harrison after an Arkansas Board of Parole Officer had asked for Harrison PD assistance on making a home visit on the night of December 9 to track down Thompson on a Felony Warrant Search. Responding officers found Thompson who attempted to flee after being handcuffed. Officers used Tasers to get Thompson into custody.
Thompson, who was being sought after his suspended sentence on burglary changes for 2022 had been revoked due to subsequent drug charges, is in the Boone County Detention Center on a $5000 Bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
