A man from Boone County has been arrested following an altercation with his ex-girlfriend in which he allegedly held a gun to her head.
According to the probable cause affidavit, on the night of January 18, the Harrison Police Department was contacted to conduct a welfare check on 30-year-old Gary Shaw of Harrison after she and Shaw were involved in a disturbance earlier inside of the residence on Middle Street. During the incident Shaw allegedly pointed and held a loaded handgun to her head.
During the investigation, it was discovered that Shaw had been involved in a similar incident last November.
Shaw was placed under arrest and transported to the Harrison Police Department and has since been released on a $20,000 bond. Shaw is scheduled for a court appearance on Tuesday.
