Harrison Daily Times Writer is City Clerk

Harrison Daily Times writer James White serves as Harrison's appointed city clerk.

White appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to talk about his latest career move. Things are going well for him. "I'm having a blast doing it," White said. When began the position by finishing a term on Oct. 24, but he officially stepped into the position on Nov. 9. He tried to work in the city government back in 2009.

The city clerk at the time, Joel Williams, was stepping down. White put his name in for consideration.

He explained that it was best for him that he didn't get the job at that time and that Jeff Pratt did. He credits Pratt with bringing a much-needed technology update to the office.

Pratt is available to help White when he needs help. Later, White made his intent to seek reelection known. More was discussed on the broadcast.

The full interview with White is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
