The meeting that had been delayed a few days due to last week’s winter weather took place Monday at Harrison City Hall.
The new council members Josh Earl, Gwen Hoffmann, and Charlie Pierce were sworn into office as were returning members Mitch Magness, Larry Phillips, Joel Williams, and Wayne Cone. Returning member Reed Petty was not present at Monday’s meeting.
The city organized the council committees and made other appointments. Wayne Cone was selected as Mayor Pro-Tem.
