A plan over a year in the making has received its final approval.
Last week, the Harrison City Council approved the final Master Plan for Trails that was put into motion last year by Mayor Jerry Jackson. The plan will provide the layout to connect all of the city's trails and eventually connect them downtown at the new Creekside Community Center.
Other items receiving final approval was a contract to lease of vehicles to be utilized by law enforcement, the parks department, and for code enforcement officials. Also getting final approval was the vacation of a right of way on Osage Street.
