A proposal presented at a recent Harrison City Council Committee Meeting to revise some guidelines for Alcohol Sales in the Entertainment District is approved by the City Council.
The council went ahead and approved the measure on a three-read emergency so the law would go into effect immediately, allowing for the district to establish hours from 12:00 to 11:00 pm Monday through Saturday and also give the Entertainment District Committee the opportunity to prohibit sales during certain events.
The measure was passed so it could be applied to the upcoming Eclipse Block Party on the square.
