The Harrison City Council is beginning the process of replacing City Clerk Jeff Pratt.
At last week's Harrison City Council Committee Meeting, the three candidates to replace Pratt, James White, Austin Wilson, and Mike Wood, spoke before the City Council to talk about their wishes to assume the clerk's role.
Pratt turned in his resignation in late August though an official date for his departure has not been determined. The Council is expected to make a decision on the appointment of his successor at their regular monthly meeting later this month. The appointment would be to finish Pratt's term as City Clerk until the position is next up for election.
The video from the entire committee meeting can be seen on the Hometown Television Facebook Page.
