Three area organizations are teaming up to give students information on a possible career in health care.
Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Wilson Marseilles, during an interview last week on KHOZ's "Around the Table" program, talked about the collaboration with the Chamber, the Harrison School District, and North Arkansas Regional Medical Center on visiting with interested students about the Healthcare Field.
Marseilles says that most work force development programs in the past have been involved with industrial careers but said that surveys in the school district show many students have expressed an interest in opportunities in Health Care.
Teachers from the Harrison School Districted visited NARMC on Monday to tour the facility and will be taking students through the hospital on Friday to visit with staff and learn more about potential careers.
The complete interview with Wilson Marseilles can be found on the Around the Table Facebook Page.
