The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce is restructuring business membership policies and benefits.
Wilson Marseilles and Bob Largent joined KHOZ’s Around The Table on Friday to talk about the updates. Marseilles said membership always been based on the number of employees a company has. He said it is not as much of a change but “just a different way we’re telling the story.” Marseilles said that Largent introduced a structure of employee base with levels on top of it three years ago and that part is not changing. “You’re not going to have to do math or the equation of how many employees or how many bank deposits or how many pillows that you have in your hotel room to calculate your dues.” They are simplifying the process. “We thought it might put our investors in the driver’s seat a little bit more,” Marseilles said.
Largent said that now all investors will get “select how do we want to engage with the Chamber? What’s best for us?” The full interview is available on Around The Table’s Facebook Page.
