UPDATE: A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for most of the Lakes Region for today. Potential storms could contain hail, damaging winds, and localized flooding.

A round of late afternoon and early evening thunderstorms Saturday dropped hail in several areas of the Lakes Region.
Reports to the National Weather Service included Dollar Size Hail being reported around Kirbyville with one inch hail also reported in areas around Branson, Hollister, and Table Rock Lake in Taney County and in Arkansas, Boone County around Harrison and Jasper in Newton County.
Areas of heavy rain also caused some issues which resulted in a Flash Flood Warning being issued for area around the Buffalo National River on Saturday.
Another round of severe thunderstorms are possible in the region on Sunday afternoon.
