Grice's Grocery and Deli of Western Grove welcomes people to their farmers market on Saturday, according to Matt Grice.
Grice appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss that and more. He said there are no vendor-setup fees. It now runs every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. "Everybody loves farmers markets, including myself," Grice said.
That passion for such markets powered the market to life last year. While there are other local markets, Grice said his area didn't have one. The market has more than vegetables.
Grice listed some of what the market has:
- Salsa
- Produce
- Food trucks
- Frozen beef
- Crafts
- Homemade goods
