Grandma's House has a Color Run and volunteer expo coming up, according to Kayleigh Evans.
Evans appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Monday to discuss the events. The timed race will happen at the Anstaff Soccer Complex and is scheduled for Aug 2 at 9 a.m. She said signups are acceptable the day of or in advance until 8 p.m. on Aug. 1. Participants have to pay $35.
Anyone who can't make it can join in virtually. Additionally, Evans said Equity Bank will sponsor the run. The volunteer expo will feature Grandma's House.
That expo will occur at the end of August. Grandma's House serves child abuse victims.
Evans explained that it's children's advocacy center that assists in child abuse investigations. They're there to support the kids themselves. More was discussed during the broadcast.
The full interview with Evans is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
