Grandma's House's Community Development Coordinator Kaleigh Evans talked Friday about the organization's $30 "color run" scheduled for Aug. 5.
Evans appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss the event. She said this the group's seventh year to host the event. This is just one of their "longest running." activities. The Grandma's House sponsored event will begin and end near the concession stand of the Anstaff Soccer Complex in Harrison, Arkansas.
"This run is just a great, fun morning," Evans said. People walk, run or push strollers at the family friendly event. Participants will have color powder thrown on them.
All of this will help Grandma's House raise money to aid them in helping victims and their families, training team members, or purchasing supplies.
Anyone wanting to signup can go to the Grandma's House website or Facebook Page. Grandma's House can be reached at 870-391-2224.
