A man wanted in Georgia is behind bars after the FLOCK Camera System in Harrison spotted a vehicle the man owned.
According to a release from the City of Harrison, the camera spotted the vehicle last week that belonged to De La Paz Ericson who was wanted for several counts of Aggravated Assault with intent to commit Murder out of Cobb County, Georgia. The alert on Ericson said he was known to be armed and dangerous.
Ericson’s vehicle was spotted on the 62-65 Bypass going northbound where officers made a traffic stop and took Ericson into custody. The Arkansas State Police, Boone County Sheriff’s Office and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force assisted in the arrest.
Ericson is in the Boone County Detention Center awaiting extradition back to Georgia.
