The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has announced one lane of Arkansas Highway 178 across the Bull Shoals Dam beginning Wednesday morning at 6:30 for routine gate inspections.
Traffic lights will be present to assist with the flow of traffic, but motorists should plan for additional travel time. The closure is being coordinated with emergency services and law enforcement agencies.
The inspections are expected to be completed and both lanes of the road reopened by 12:00 Noon on Thursday.
