Flippin Woman Dies in Crash South of Clinton

A two vehicle crash south of Clinton in Van Buren County Tuesday evening takes the life of a woman from Marion County.

According to the Arkansas State Police Report, a pick-up truck driven by 34-year-old Kiana Hayes of Flippin crossed the center line of Highway 65 and crashed into an oncoming vehicle.

Hayes was killed in the crash while eight other people between the two vehicles suffered injuries and were treated at hospitals in Conway and Little Rock.

This is the 39th Fatality in traffic crashes reported by the Arkansas State Police in 2024.

The watch is in effect until 9:00 this evening. The watch does not include Arkansas currently but areas east of 65 in both Arkansas and Missouri are now at a Level 3 or Enhanced Chance of Storms.
