The Ozarks will see the first freeze of the season early Monday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for all of the Branson and Missouri Lakes Region as well as for the Harrison area along with Boone, Carroll, Madison, and Newton County regions in Arkansas.
Temperatures which began falling late Friday afternoon continue to drop today as highs will be in the 40s before lows overnight drop into the mid to upper 20s. Precipitation is expected to continue and while their is a slight chance of snow or sleet in some elevated areas overnight, most precipitation is expected to fall in the form of rain.
Freezing overnight lows are expected to continue into midweek before a warm-up comes in later in the week with highs back into the 60s by Friday.
