Tuesday afternoon a truck transporting oxygen tanks was deemed a total loss in a fire near Harriet.
According to the Searcy County Sheriff’s Office, they were dispatched to a report of a truck fire on Arkansas Highway 14 South near the Rock Creek Assembly of God Church in Harriet. Upon arrival, they found a truck totally consumed by flames in the parking lot.
The Harriet-Rock-Cozahome (HAROCO) Fire Department were dispatched to the scene as extinguished the fire. Searcy County deputies requested the assistance of the Arkansas Highway Police, who arrived and completed a vehicle examination report and found no violations.
The driver of the truck, 25-year-old Marshall Alexander O’Shea of Mayflower was not injured during the incident. The truck owned by Camden Medical Supply of Orlando, Fl. was carrying oxygen tanks.
The truck was a total loss.
