The National Weather Service has completed their report on the tornado that struck the town of Bakersfield in Ozark County on Friday.
Confirming the preliminary finding, the tornado was an EF-3 that first touched down in extreme northern Baxter County in Arkansas before crossing the state line into Missouri and going through Bakersfield. The total path of the storm as just over 12 miles with the storm causing three fatalities and one injury in Bakersfield.
This was one of a series of tornados that struck Missouri and Arkansas on Friday night. Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders have declared States of Emergency due to Friday’s storms.
