The recent passage of a frontal system has given the Lakes Region a taste of fall weather, but warm temperatures will soon return.
The latest information from the National Weather Service calls for high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s and lows in the upper 40s to low 50s going into the weekend. That will be followed by a warm-up that will see highs in the mid 80s and lows in the around 60 through the weekend into next week.
The forecast still calls for little to no precipitation during the period which could expand the drought areas in the Lakes Region.
