The two area U.S. House Members will continue to represent northern Arkansas in Washington.
Republicans Rick Crawford and Steve Womack are reelected to represent the 1st and 3rd Arkansas House Districts winning their three-way races.
Many communities also had city positions up for election. According to results posted by several media outlets, in the City of Harrison, the two Ward 1 Council Members elected are Josh Earl and Gwen Hoffman while in Ward 3, no candidate received a majority of the votes. According to the unofficial numbers, Charlie Pearce was the leading vote getter with Austin Wilson edging Mellie Williams by one vote for second. Pending the certification of results, Pearce and Wilson will have a run-off for that spot.
In Boone County, Republican Shane Jones defeated Independent Mark Fowler for Justice of the Peace District 8.
