Downtown Harrison Meeting This Evening

The meeting to discuss the results of the recent survey about Downtown Harrison is this evening. 

According to a press release from Explore Harrison, the community is invited to the public forum from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Brandon Burlsworth Youth Center. The forum will discuss the results of the almost 500 survey responses recently received about downtown Harrison as part of a grant the City of Harrison received through the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District to seek recommendations for specific strategies to move downtown Harrison forward.

The community is invited to a public forum to discuss the results of the almost 500 survey responses recently received about downtown Harrison.
Many citizens are passionate about the downtown area and keeping it alive with businesses, restaurants, and activities. 

The City of Harrison received a grant through the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District (NWAEDD) and partnered with Downtown
Strategies, Inc. to seek recommendations for specific strategies to move downtown Harrison forward. The survey responses from local citizens will
help shape those strategies. 

On Wednesday, April 24, Downtown Strategies, Inc. will facilitate a community forum to share information and collaborate with stakeholders
and community members interested in the future of the downtown area. 

The meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Brandon Burlsworth Youth Center at 202 S. Spring on Wednesday, April 24. 

Host partners include the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District, The Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Historic
Harrison Business Association, Explore Harrison, Boone County, and the City of Harrison.
