Disney is losing millions of dollars each day as its contract dispute with YouTube TV continues into another week, according to a report from The Hill.
Estimates from Morgan Stanley analyst Benjamin Swinburne suggest Disney could lose about $60 million in revenue if the standoff lasts two full weeks, The Wrap reported.
The blackout began on Halloween, when major Disney-owned channels including ABC and ESPN went dark on the Google-owned streaming service. So far, no resolution appears close, leaving millions of subscribers without access to some of their favorite networks.
The dispute centers on renewal terms and carriage fees, a common point of conflict between media companies and streaming providers. Until a new agreement is reached, Disney’s networks will remain unavailable to YouTube TV subscribers.
