A member of the Boone County Republican group offers his insight to a U.S. House Resolution involving guns.
Glenn Redding of the Boone County Republicans appears on "Around the Table" on KHOZ Tuesday to discuss the latest actions and discussions around gun rights, including HR 127.
Redding was in the United States Navy. “Evil is not in the weapon, evil is in the heart,” Redding said. “You can look at any statistics if you want to look at the real numbers. The amount of deaths by a rifle is usually below six percent nationwide,” he added. He said it is mostly handguns and that the desired target is the seller of handguns. “He (President Biden) didn’t specify whether it was the legal seller or the illegal street seller.”
Redding was on a drug taskforce for several years, spent 20 years with the police department, twelve with the state and was on the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Forces for a period of time and is currently a member of the Boone County Quorum Court.
The entire interview with Redding is on Around The Table’s Facebook Page.
