The Arkansas State Commissioner of Lands announces the next round of auctions on property for sale due to delinquent taxes.
In the Lakes Region, auction for properties in Carroll and Madison Counties will take place July 19 at the Inn of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs while properties in Boone, Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties will be auctioned at the Durand Center in Harrison on August 1. The auction at each site will begin at 10:00 am.e
In a Facebook post, Commissioner Tommy Land says that owners of land up for auction have until the day before the sale to clear the land. On the commission’s website, buyers are reminded that cash is no longer being accepted at the sale, only checks or credit/debit cards are permitted with full payment on site.
