The Creekside Community Center will open on Oct. 12.
Harrison Mayor Jerry Jackson said that during his appearance on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Monday. The opening will occur at 10 a.m. He and the city's Donna Braymer were on the broadcast.
Jackson said the Creekside Community Center's sprinkler system is complete. That's another step forward in opening the new facility. While the aquatics area was done a few months ago, the system wasn't installed.
The total remodel is done. The mayor explained that the only things left to do is some cleaning, work on the parking lot and such.
More was discussed on the broadcast. The full interview with Jackson and Braymer is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
