A project several years in the making will become a reality this weekend with the opening of the Creekside Community Center in Harrison.
Matt Bell, of Explore Harrison, has visited several programs including KHOZ’s “Around the Table” and KRZK’s “The Upside” programs to discuss the upcoming weekend which includes the October Music Festival and the Grand Opening of the new Creekside Community Center. Bell said the $20 million facility was made possible with a sales tax that passed several years ago. Bell says some of the highlights of the new center is the indoor aquatic center, basketball courts, and e-sports facilities.
The music festival goes Friday and Saturday with the ribbon cutting for Creekside taking place at 10:00 am Saturday. A live radio party of the celebration will air on New Country 1029.
