Nearly a month after the first roundabout was completed and opened on Goblin Drive, work on the next roundabout is set to begin.
According to a release from the Harrison Police Department, starting Wednesday Crouse Construction will begin work on the next roundabout project on Goblin Drive.
This roundabout will be located south of the high school but unlike the previous part of the project, Goblin Drive will remain open.
Officials are again asking drivers that do not have students attending Harrison High School or Harrison Middle School to avoid using Goblin Drive as a cut-through route during this construction phase. This will help reduce congestion and improve safety for students, parents, buses, and construction crews according to the release.
Construction on this section of Goblin Drive is expected to be complete in April according to the release which can be found on the Harrison Police Department Facebook Page.
