A Marion County community is taking legal action against an individual for living in a storage shed and a neighbor supplying the shed with electricity.
According to a report from KTLO, the City of Yellville is taken the action against Cassandra Meyer, who has been living in a storage shed on Wickersham Road for almost two and a half years which violates city codes. The injunction is the next step in a long process that has seen the city cite Meyer in District Court for living in the structure plus moving additional storage structures on the property which also violated city building codes and zoning laws.
The city is also seeking an injunction against Meyer's neighbor David Ellis who according to the report has been supplying electricity to that property through an extension chord.
More on the story can be found on the KTLO Website.
