The City of Harrison hosts a public meeting next week to get input on future park development through a grant.
According to a release from the city, the meeting prior to next Thursday's City Council Meeting is to identify recreation needs and priorities as well as potential future park sites. This is a step in a possible Outdoor Recreation Matching Grant application to the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism that would be submitted after City Officials analyze the information and select the priorities to be submitted as part of the grant application process.
Those who cannot attend the meeting can submit comments in advance to the city with more information available through the City of Harrison Facebook Page.
