The City of Harrison made a pair of decisions on Tuesday regarding the proposed Crypto Mining Facility Proposal from Green Digital, LLC.
The City of Harrison posted on their Facebook Page the notice of a Special City Council Meeting for the consideration of a temporary moratorium on data centers and crypto mining facilities in the City of Harrison. According to a report from the Harrison Daily Times, the ordinance passed.
The Daily Times also reports that earlier in the day, the Planning Commission also held a Special Meeting to make a final decision on the Large Scale Development Permit which since the Special Use Permit Application had been denied, that was voted down by a vote of the commission.
