2026 will see a change in the distribution of cases in the Arkansas 14th Judicial Court.
According to KTLO, Circuit Judges Andrew Bailey and John Putman will split up criminal cases in the 14th District which covers Baxter, Boone, Marion, and Newton Counties. Judge Bailey will pick up 100% of criminal cases in Baxter and Marion Counties while Judge Putman will continue to handle all of those cases in Boone and Newton Counties. There will be a division of other types of cases between the judges and others in the circuit division.
2026 will be the final year for Judge Putman on the bench as he earlier announced he will retire when his current term ends next December.
The complete story can be found on the KTLO Website.
