A pickup truck crash in Stone County takes the life of the driver.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash took place around 11:00 Thursday morning when the pickup truck driven by 73-year-old Raymond Lassiter of Green Forest ran off the right side of Highway 86 north of Blue Eye, struck a ditch and overturned.
Lassiter, who was not wearing a seat belt according to the report, was taken to Cox Medical Center in Branson where he was pronounced dead just before Noon.
This is the 87th Fatality in traffic crashes worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2023.
