While Missouri wrapped up their election season on Tuesday, the 2024 election season in Arkansas is getting into focus.
The sign-up period for candidate interested in being on the federal and state ballots as well as some local county and school races goes on through next Tuesday.
One race for area state representative has already developed as Republican Incumbent House Member Ron McNair of Alpena will face opposition from Jim Hall of Harrison, who filed Monday as an Independent to oppose McNair in the General Election.
The first election of the 2024 will be a primary election on March the 5th.
