Hazy conditions are in the forecast for today across the region due to wildfires continuing to burn in Canada.
According to the National Weather Service, hazy conditions will move into the region from the northwest with light impacts mostly in the Missouri Ozarks this morning then filtering into northwest Arkansas this afternoon.
Although the impacts are expected to be minimal, visibilities could be reduced slightly with officials warning younger and older individuals to be aware of potential impacts if outside for an extended period of time.
A slight chance of rain is in the forecast tonight into Friday which will impact the smoke levels where the rain is falling.
