Boone County offices will be closed on Friday to give county employees and officials time to attend services for Fred Woehl according to a release from Judge Robert Hathaway’s Office.
Woehl, Justice of the Peace for District 5 and a person involved in many activities and organizations in the region, died from injuries suffered while cleaning up storm debris after the Memorial Day Weekend Tornado.
Visitation for Woehl will be at 1:00 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. Friday at Faith Assembly of God in Harrison. Burial with military honors will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
