
A Harrison man was arrested following reports of domestic assault. 42-year-old Timothy Shatwell is facing charges of battery, false imprisonment, terroristic threatening and being a habitual offender.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Boone County Dispatch received a call June 6 from a woman who stated Shatwell had physically assaulted her at his residence.
The next day, investigators met with the victim to conduct an interview. She claimed that Statwell beat her multiple times prior to her contacting them. The victim had eventually gotten away from him and went to Washington Regional Medical Center inn Fayetteville where she was hosptialized for two days.
Shatwell was arrested and booked into the Boone County Jail and Detention Center on felony counts of second-degree domestic battering, first-degree terroristic threatening and third-degree domestic battering and another felony charge in Missouri. He also faces a penalty enhancement for being a habitual offender.
