An area man is facing charges stemming from an incident in March.
According to the probable cause affidavit posted by KTLO, 31-year-old Jacob Tapprich is facing charges of aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a minor. The affidavit states the incident happened on March 29 with Harrison Police Officers responding, talking to Tapprich who claimed his girlfriend had attacked him and showed a video of the incident.
Officers were then contacted by North Arkansas Regional Medical Center the next night when a patient, identified as Tapprich's girlfriend, was being treated for several cuts and bruises from the incident. The victim claimed that it was Tapprich that had beaten her up and later rammed his vehicle into her car with her and her two children inside.
Tapprich was booked and released from the Boone County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond and was ordered no contact with the victim.
