Boone County Library Programs Underway for July

Beth from Boone County Library spoke with KHOZ’s Around The Table on Tuesday about events this month.

The fourth week of summer reading is underway. “If people haven’t been turning in their logs regularly, I encourage them to do so,” she said. She said if kids want to complete their program they need to start turning in the logs.

Reading time with a guest will take place on July 7 at 10 a.m. Arkansas Game and Fish will be there at 1 p.m. on the same day to do a program on alligators and reptiles. “They’re also bringing their baby alligator with them,” she said. On Thursday at 10 a.m. there will be a story time, and at 2 p.m. Buffalo National River will be back to discuss river otters. At 5:30 p.m. there will be a program for adults involving planting succulents. Then on Monday at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. kinetic sand will be made. On Tuesday evening Abby Burnett will be giving a presentation.

The full interview with Beth is on Around The Table’s Facebook Page.
