Amy and Teri from the Boone County Library spoke on Thursday about January activities.
They appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table to discuss the library's events. Amy is the Employee of the Month; she drew attention to the Teen Advisory Board the library is launching. She explained that there was one before but said it "fizzled out." The board gives teenagers the opportunity to plan programs for kids their age. The library is also hosting a board meeting on Jan. 10 during which attendees can enjoy pizza provided by the library.
Amy said this will occur at 4 p.m. during the board's first meeting. DIY snow is the activity on Jan. 12. Parents are encouraged to have their kids wear clothes that can get dirty during the DIY snow event. More information is provided at boonecountylibrary.org.
The library is closed on Jan. 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. More events were discussed.
The full interview with Amy and Teri is available on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
