Arkansas saw an overnight increase of three cents, setting new record highs.
As of Wednesday morning, gas prices across Arkansas rose almost three cents overnight with the statewide average now at $4.478 for a gallon of regular gas. Yesterday’s average was at $4.450, a week ago it was $4.19, and a month ago it was $3.91.
Northern Arkansas has a mix of counties above and below the statewide average with Boone County averaging well over at $4.590. That is the highest average price of all Northern Arkansas Counties from Northwest Arkansas to the Missouri Bootheel.
Surrounding Counties are somewhat lower. Carroll County sits at $4.520, Newton Co. at $4.543, Searcy Co. at $4.447, Baxter Co. at $4.53, and Marion Co. at $4.554.
Crossing the state line into Missouri will save about 10 cents on the gallon as Taney County is averaging $4.498, and Stone County averaging $4.459.
The Arkansas county with the highest average is Lafayette County whose average sits at $4.759, the lowest average is in Grant County at $4.378
The national average now sits at $4.955.
