The Arkansas Department of Health has two Boil Water Orders in effect for the region.
One was issued on Monday for the SPG Water Association that covers parts of both Marion and Searcy Counties in areas along Arkansas Highway 65 due to a Water Main Break. A break in a Water Main also caused a Boil Order to be issued last week for the Nail-Swain Water Association along parts of south Arkansas Highway 21 in Newton County.
Health Officials remind residents in those areas that water may be unsafe for consumption unless it is boiled briskly for one minute before use.
