Boil Orders Still in Place for Several Water Systems

Several area Boil Orders issued by the Arkansas Department of Health are still in place.

The orders include all customers of Compton and Jasper Waterworks, customers along Nita Lane of Bergman Waterworks, and customers north of Ben’s Branch of the East Newton County Water. All orders were issued due to water main breaks last week. 

Water should be boiled for a minute prior to use in cooking or consumption for these areas.
