The Arkansas Department of Health has lifted the boil water order for Newton County as of Wednesday morning.
The order for Parthenon Water Association had been in effect since May 25 after a water line break. The order affected customers served by the Gum Springs Road tank.

Taylor Fresh Foods and Taylor Farms have announced a recall of iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico as federal health officials investigate a large outbreak of cyclosporiasis. Nearly 7,000 confirmed or suspected illnesses are being reviewed in connection with the outbreak.
