The Arkansas Department of Health has issued a Boil Water Order for the City of Flippin.
According to the order posted on the department's website, a water line was broken at a construction site. Flippin Mayor Heith Hogan tells KTLO that the line broken was a six-inch water main.
Residents in the city should boil water briskly for one minute before consuming or cooking. Ice cubes should be discarded and only ice from boiled water be used.
