The body of a man from El Salvador who was reported missing in the Buffalo River Tuesday afternoon has been found.
According to the National Park Service, the body of Fidel Angel Salamanca Saravia was discovered near Shine Eye Landing Thursday Morning. The body was found downstream from Grinders Ferry where he had disappeared after losing his footing wading into the water.
The National Park Service in its release thank the many different groups that helped in the search including rescue and support personnel from Boone, Carroll, Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties.
