The Blue Eye School District announces a partnership giving students access to nearby attractions.
Blue Eye School Superintendent Dr. Doug Arnold, during an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, says the district was approached by the Johnny Morris Foundation about getting visits to nearby Dogwood Canyon Nature Park as well as other Bass Pro Attractions including Top of the Rock History Museum and the Wonders of Wildlife Museum.
Arnold says elementary students have already taken field trips to Dogwood as part of the school's science program and that some high school students will go to Wonders of Wildlife later this year. Arnold says the program gives students valuable hands on real world learning experiences to go along with classroom learning.
