A man from Berryville is dead after a traffic crash in Rural Madison County.
According to the report from the Arkansas State Police, the crash occurred late Saturday afternoon on Highway 412 when a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Timmy Cain ran into a vehicle then crossed the centerline hitting another vehicle before leaving the roadway striking a culvert. Cain died in the crash while neither of the other drivers were reported as injured.
Including other accidents over the weekend there have now been 54 fatalities in traffic crashes worked by the Arkansas State Police in 2023.
