Joining the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce unlocks benefits for businesses.
Chamber President and CEO Wilson Marseilles talked about these benefits on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Friday. According to Marseilles, businesses joining the organization usually want three things.
- Marketing help
The chamber offers a place for businesses to spread the word and promote their brand.
- Advocacy
Marseilles explained that since the group is the "voice of business," they work with representatives to help businesses in the legislature. He said feedback from the businesses is often sought after.
- Community involvement
The president and CEO said the local organization involves themselves in local causes when businesses don't have time for it. He listed workforce and education as two examples of community involvement arenas.
Earlier, Marseilles introduced Adrielle Churchill Wiese (AC), the new director of economic and workforce development. The chamber is available at 870-741-2659. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Marseilles and Wiese is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
