The Boone County Library has banned books, according to Terri.
Terri and Amy appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Thursday to discuss this month's activities at the library; which includes banned books. Terri said the library will "showcase" books that have been banned for a variety of reasons.
She also said the Friends of the Library book sale is Thursday through Saturday. Their national week is Oct. 15 through Oct. 21.
Amy said children can carve pumpkins at 5 p.m. on Oct. 5. The event was originally for teens only, but kids can participate if they're with an adult. On the same day, the library will host "nature art" at 4 p.m.
Kids will learn to make paint out of flowers. Terri said adults can make fabric pumpkins on Oct. 10. That class requires participants to sign up.
Adults have other classes they can take as well; anyone interested should call the library at 870-741-5913 or visit the front desk of the library. More was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Amy and Terri is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
